Tempered glass is toughened by thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass.
Although this is toughened glass that is often used for outdoor furniture, we always advise ensuring that items such as parasols are taken down when not in use, as when in use in heavy wind, it may damage the glass. This would not be covered in your 2-year guarantee.
